Park of the Order of the Smile and the Slawiecice park
The Park of the Order of the Smile is the largest city park in the Kozle district, renewed in 2023. Wooded meadows, walking and cycling lanes and a large playground let us set up a stage, marquees and a separate children's corner in the very centre of the city, making it a strong base for a big family day.
Quite different in character is Slawiecice, with the landscape park of the former Hohenlohe estate. Old and exotic trees, broad avenues and a belvedere create a dignified setting, while extensive meadows accommodate a stage and animation zones during larger family gatherings. In the same district the MOSiR stadium on Sadowa Street, with its open stands and amenity facilities, works for picnics of greater scale.
Marina Lasoki, Wodne oKKo and Lake Debowa: events by the water
For an event by the water, Marina Lasoki on the Oder offers a yacht and motorboat harbour with pontoons, a slip and a campsite - a base for a company picnic with water activities, pedalo regattas or equipment shows. On a hot day the Wodne oKKo water activity centre in the Azoty district, with summer pools, a wild river and a water playground, blends the cool of bathing with animations and catering.
Near the neighbouring village of Renska Wies lies Lake Debowa, a large body of water with a guarded bathing area, beaches and a rental for kayaks, boats and pedalos, with a rope park among the trees alongside. Bathing, water equipment and climbing sit side by side, so the day's plan moves smoothly from a morning swim, through pedalo regattas, to an afternoon on the ropes without breaking the programme.

For a large family day in the centre, the Park of the Order of the Smile with its broad meadows and playground is best, while for a more dignified setting the historic Slawiecice park. The outdoor season runs mainly from May to September, when the bathing areas, the summer pools at Wodne oKKo, the Klodnica canoe trips and the lock-passage cruises are in operation. For riverside events at Marina Lasoki or by Lake Debowa we most often book June and September, when the bathing areas and equipment rentals are running at full capacity.
For families the rope park by Lake Debowa and the water playground at Wodne oKKo work brilliantly, while in the city parks there are large playgrounds and animations on the grassy meadows. We happily enrich the programme with a local touch - a walk along the Little Goats Trail through the Kozle old town or a trip to the Kozle Fortress, which entertains children and adults alike.
