Company picnics by the ponds of Lodz

For large family events we recommend the municipal MOSiR waterside grounds, above all the Stefanski Ponds with their broad meadows and beach, and the Jan Ponds. Because a MOSiR site requires advance booking and the manager's consent, and unlike private resorts has no ready fencing or permanent back-of-house, we bring the entire build: a stage with sound, covered banqueting marquees for the changeable Lodz weather, a grill zone at the designated fire pits, catering and chillout points.

At the ponds we play with what a downtown park lacks: we launch kayaks and pedal boats from local rental points onto the water, and on the beach by the bathing area we set up volleyball and beach soccer, combining it with bouncy castles and workshops for the youngest. We know the Lodz site managers and their regulations, so we take on the formalities of reserving a MOSiR plot and registering the event with the city.

When the backdrop needs to be more representative, we reach for the historic parks. Helenow, the former garden of the industrialist Karol Anstadt with its ponds and shaded avenues, has hosted outdoor events for years and works well as the setting for a more intimate family day. Zrodliska, the oldest park in Lodz with its Palm House, venerable oaks and the nearby Textile Museum, adds a cultural and post-industrial thread that in Lodz is part of the local identity.

When the guest count grows or a company wants everything in one place with full infrastructure, we direct the event beyond the strict city. In the Lodz region, resorts with event marquees, gazebos and their own catering work well, such as Dobronianka near Lodz, Hotel Czarny Staw or the sprawling Malutkie Resort with a go-kart track and a rope park. A beach feel for larger groups comes from out-of-town waters: Grotniki on the Linda, the Sulejow Reservoir, or the Pilica marina in Tomaszow Mazowiecki with its ready summer stage.
