Castle Park and the Promenade: calmer settings for a family day in the centre
The city centre offers two quieter scenes for a family day. Castle Park, spread around the remains of the Mieroszewski manor and monumental trees, gained a playground, a sensory park, a skatepark, pitches and fitness trails after its revitalisation - ready infrastructure for a family picnic with activities. Right beside it, the Promenade, one of the oldest avenues in the city leading from the centre towards Slupna, now offers dedicated grilling zones with tables, benches and charcoal grills, ideal for a more intimate staff gathering.
Both grounds lie by the Przemsza and have been flooded in the past, so for larger events we prepare a contingency plan against high water in advance.
