Company picnics in Stargard by the Ina and Lake Miedwie

We organise company picnics in Stargard where the city has them written into its landscape, between the historic heart on the Ina river and the shores of Lake Miedwie. It is a rare arrangement: within the city limits you will find shady parks with a stage and avenues, and a short way further the broad beaches, a promenade and water for team sports. This lets one outdoor event combine an intimate departmental gathering under the trees of Park Chrobry with a large family day on the beach in Morzyczyn.

Our flagship base in the centre is Boleslaw Chrobry Park, the oldest and largest green area in the city, laid out on former earthworks. It already holds stage infrastructure: the City Amphitheatre with an auditorium set into the slope and the Summer Theatre with a roofed stage by the Red Sea Tower. That means we have the stage for a concert or compere essentially ready to go, without erecting a structure from scratch. The walking avenues, the playgrounds with trampolines set into the ground and the skate plaza give natural zones for families, while the proximity of Piast Park and Castle Park lets us spread out the entertainment and catering across a shaded, continuous area right by the Ina.

Lake Miedwie: a complete stage and activity zone in one place

When a client wants an event with water in the background, we move to Lake Miedwie, a large lake lying right by the city and one of the larger ones in West Pomerania. The promenade in Morzyczyn and Wierzbno has its own amphitheatre with a distinctive sail-shaped roof, a run of jetties, a pier, a skatepark, playgrounds and pitches, and beside it a broad beach with a watersports rental and windsurfing and kitesurfing schools.

It is a complete zone of stage and entertainment in one place, ideal for a family day where part of the team listens to a performance, part plays volleyball and the youngest let loose at the playground. The main beach in Kunowo adds a supervised bathing area, an outdoor gym, fish-fry catering along the promenade and accommodation for companies, which opens the scenario of an all-day team-building picnic with an overnight stay.

The Ina riverside: a city picnic without leaving Stargard

Not every event has to leave the city. The land along the Ina, the boulevards from the riverside revitalisation project, the Walking Avenue, the lit running and cycling paths and the kayak jetties, lets us stage a city picnic with a stage and play zones right in the centre, and descend through Park Chrobry straight to the City Bathing Area.

Kayak trips down the river also set off from here, starting within Stargard or below Lubowo, so a team activity can be woven into the programme without logistical excursions. For smaller groups, the intimate beach with a jetty in Wierzbno works naturally, with roofing, toilets and a volleyball court. We take on the open-air logistics in full: where there is no ready amphitheatre, we bring in the stage, sound and roofing, and set out catering zones with a grill and food trucks.

Frequently asked

Which site in Stargard is best for a company picnic or family day?

Most often we recommend Boleslaw Chrobry Park in the centre, as it has a ready City Amphitheatre and the roofed Summer Theatre stage, so we do not have to build a stage from scratch, while the playgrounds and avenues give room for family zones. When you want an event by the water, we direct the event to the promenade and beach by Lake Miedwie in Morzyczyn, with the sail-roofed amphitheatre, or to Kunowo, where a supervised beach joins with accommodation. The choice depends on the number of guests and on whether it is to be a city picnic or a lakeside open-air event.

Which season works best for an outdoor event in Stargard?

The widest options run from the opening of the bathing areas on Miedwie to the end of September, when the supervised beaches in Kunowo and Morzyczyn, the watersports rentals and the windsurfing and kitesurfing schools are open, and the boulevards and parks by the Ina suit a city picnic with a stage. Late summer and September are often the most convenient for large family days, with the lake still warm enough for sport but cooler than the peak of the heat. For any date we provide roofing against sun and rain.

What family attractions can be woven into a picnic around Stargard?

The repertoire of local attractions is unusually rich here. For the active there is the Tarzan rope park and team paintball with experience in handling large games, for the youngest gentle meetings and feeding alpacas at a farm near Kunowo, and trampolines set into the ground in Park Chrobry. By Miedwie we add kayaks, pedal boats and beach team games, while those keen can take a kayak trip down the Ina starting in the city, or a sightseeing walk along the Stargard Old Town Trail among the defensive walls and the collegiate church.
